- Texas A&M CC “Family Night Out” at 6:30 pm.  A program designed to foster open communication and improve relationships among family members. Community service hours may be earned if needed. -Art Center of CC Free Family Art Time from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All activities are collaborative, taught by experienced art instructors, and of a take home nature. -Michaels Kids Club Fourth of July Hat starting at 10:30 am.  Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:30am - 11:30am. -Mission-Aransas Reserve Estuary Explorer Labs at 10 a.m. - 12 noon.  Come have fun as a family! Learn about coastal wetlands through science, exploration, and crafts. -Owen R. Hopkins Public Library Digging Movies at 3 pm. Showing the movie "Brave". 3202 McKinzie Road. Contact (361) 826-2350 for more information.

-"The Sandlot"  20th Anniversary Post-Game Screening at 6:05 pm.  The Corpus Christi Hooks will take on the Tulsa Drillers and there will be a special post-game screening of the movie "The Sandlot".  Director David M. Evans will be on hand to talk about his experiences making the film.  Arrive early for special pre-game festivities with Evans, including autograph sigining and special giveaways. -Great Texas Grape Stomp from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m.  This inaugural wine festival will feature a variety of fun activities that the whole family can enjoy, such as:= Grape Stomping competition, Wine tasting, Kids Grape Stomp Tub, the "Social Hour" Grape Stomp Tub for Adults, "I Love Lucy" Tribute - Lucy look-a-like contest, Live music, Fashion show with Baps Bowtique (for kids) and Sashay Boutique (for women).  A portion of the proceeds will help benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Corpus Christi.  The featured Grape Stomp competition will kick off at 4 p.m. with up to six heats of ten teams (2 people per team - one to stomp, one to siphon juice). The winning team that produces the most juice will win a trip for two to Fredericksburg, TX, to enjoy a wine tour and overnight stay.  TICKETS:  GENERAL ADMISSION Adults: $25 regular admission Minors (11 - 20): $15 regular admission (includes beverage ticket for tea/soda; no wine glass) Kids (10 & under): Free admission when accompanied by adult
