School's out and most of our favorite Summer programs are back!  Don't forget to check out our post for all the Summer library activities and reading clubs.

Mondays

Michaels Stores Passport to Imagination 
Get creative this summer. The adventure begins June 15th.  Sessions are on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 am to noon. $5 a session or $12 for 3 sessions. Registration is now open!  
Join us in our store classrooms on an imaginary seven-week road trip from the beach to the county fair and beyond, with fun kids’ crafts at each stop. Get a stamp for each stop on your passport card and choose a special prize after 5 stamps! Plus, You’ll have time at the end of session to doodle, play and create with the products from that week’s sponsor.

Peter Piper Pizza Summer Kids Days 
Every Tuesday
Each Summer Kids Day begins at 11:00 am and ends at 1:00 pm. The program will include 2 slices of pizza, 12oz. drink, dessert, a prize and a fun activity for each day for $3.99 per child plus tax. Don’t miss out on a “slice”.

Early Scholars Academy Family Summer Camp 
Every Tuesday
For families with children ages 4-12; cost is $7.50 per person.
Designed for maximum fun, this camp will encourage children and their parents to interact with one another and learn by playing. Using the various learning pods, families will be offered the following topics and activities:
June 2 - Passport to Play (All Around the World/Auditorium) Learn how to play together and what children learn from play. A photo “selfie” scavenger hunt of activities is the highlight.
June 9 - Wind Power! (Destination Exploration) Families will make kites, wind socks, wind chimes and/or tornado bottles out of recyclables.
June 16 – Family of Foodies (Amazing Me/Auditorium) Learn how to prepare and eat new foods; “community foodies” will demonstrate easy to prepare unconventional family food. Participants will be food critics by charting their samplings.
June 23 – Evaporation Games (Destination Exploration) Learn about the water cycle and taking care of our earth, made fun with water experiments and activities.

Bay Jammin Cinema Series 2015
Bay Jammin’ CINEMA Series held every Friday, June 5–August 14 beginning at dark. The audience can enjoy an entire summer filled with action, adventure and comedy. All films are family-friendly and will be closed captioned. Movies will be shown under the stars against our beautiful Corpus Christi bayfront every Friday evening after dark. All films are closed captioned. The movies are offered FREE for everyone, so bring your lawn chairs, blankets and enjoy this wonderful family entertainment.
