If your kids are like mine they'll be bored on the first day. Here are some fun Spring Break ideas for things to do with your kids during the week plus day camps. We will be adding more as we here about them and plus will have a special Spring Break week recap!  Also, you can find lots of fun things to do on the calendar at What's Up CC.

Spring Break Adventure Week at the Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve & Learning Center
March 14—18, 2016
Join us for Day Camps, Guided Nature Walks, Yoga, Animal Feedings, an Eco-Expert Lecture, Toddler Story Time, Nature Trading Post, Star Dome, or a Night Hike. Activities will highlight all of the fun and interesting things the Oso Preserve has to offer. Monday through Saturday from dawn until dusk visitors can sign up to participate in a variety of awesome activities. Visitors will meet at the newly constructed Learning Center accessible from the corner of Wooldridge Road and N. Oso Parkway. Keep an eye out for The Great Heron, the 24-foot high metal sculpture at the entrance—you can’t miss it! Programs will be led by preserve staff and local experts highlighting the education and recreation activities the Oso Preserve will offer into the future. Programs are open to individuals and families and most are FREE of charge.  Some programs require preregistration online.

Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History Wild Science Week Nano Days
March 14—18, 2016
Hours: 11 am to 4 pm
Museum Hours in March: Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm, Member only early open: Saturdays 9am-10am
This Wild Science Week we will be celebrating NanoDays, a nationwide educational event dedicated to learning about nano-scale science and engineering and how it can impact the future. Join us in exploring the molecular science that embraces fields such as chemistry, biology, and more! Participate in nano-themed activities and be entertained by exciting demonstrations! General Admission, FREE for members. Open Mondays throughout March for everyone!

City of Corpus Christi Hooked on Fishing Day Camp
March 14—18, 2016
Hours: One day sessions from 9 am to 3 pm
Safety and conservation, fish dissections, arts and crafts, bait and cast. Fishing trip included! Open to youth ages 6 - 12. Participants may only register for 1 day. Space is limited. Please be aware of the weather conditions and dress accordingly. Includes lunch and a snack.
Cost: $25 a day

Latchkey Vacation Station
March 14–18, 2016
Hours: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
Children can create arts and crafts, play sports, participate in gaming tournaments, listen and learn from guest speakers and so much more! Vacation Station camps are the answer for working parents concerned about leaving their children unsupervised. These are structured recreation camps offered by the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department in collaboration with the Corpus Christi Independent School District during school breaks. Ages 5 to 13. Lunch not provided. Please bring a sack lunch.
Cost: $18 per day per child

Spring Break Youth Basketball Camp
March 14–16, 2016
Hours: 9:00 am–1:00 pm
Professional instruction for this camp will be provided by local High School Basketball Coach Roy DeLaPena. Participants will obtain training of fundamentals through a variety of skills and drills, along with frequent basketball games against fellow campers. Texas State Aquarium Spring Break Mini Camp
March 14 – 17, 2016 (one day camp)
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for 2nd - 7th grade, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for K-1st grade
Time to plan for spring break! What better way to have fun than with the Texas State Aquarium at Spring Mini-Camp! This spring campers in grades Kindergarten to 7th grade can learn and play at the Aquarium as they discover the diversity and importance of the Gulf of Mexico and its unique inhabitants.

Early Scholars Academy Spring Break Camp

Spring Break Campers will get to experience the whole ESA! We will be spending time in all nine discovery rooms. They will be doing activities, working on science projects, learning basic engineering and creating artwork. Pre-K to 4th grade.
