If your kids are like mine they'll be bored on the first day. Here are some fun Spring Break ideas for things to do with your kids during the week plus day camps. Join us for Day Camps, Guided Nature Walks, Yoga, Animal Feedings, an Eco-Expert Lecture, Toddler Story Time, Nature Trading Post, Star Dome, or a Night Hike. Activities will highlight all of the fun and interesting things the Oso Preserve has to offer. Monday through Saturday from dawn until dusk visitors can sign up to participate in a variety of awesome activities. Visitors will meet at the newly constructed Learning Center accessible from the corner of Wooldridge Road and N. Oso Parkway. Keep an eye out for The Great Heron, the 24-foot high metal sculpture at the entrance—you can’t miss it! Programs will be led by preserve staff and local experts highlighting the education and recreation activities the Oso Preserve will offer into the future. Programs are open to individuals and families and most are FREE of charge. Some programs require preregistration online.

Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History Wild Science Week Nano Days

This Wild Science Week we will be celebrating NanoDays, a nationwide educational event dedicated to learning about nano-scale science and engineering and how it can impact the future. Children can create arts and crafts, play sports, participate in gaming tournaments, listen and learn from guest speakers and so much more! Vacation Station camps are the answer for working parents concerned about leaving their children unsupervised. These are structured recreation camps offered by the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department in collaboration with the Corpus Christi Independent School District during school breaks. Ages 5 to 13. Lunch not provided. Please bring a sack lunch.
Cost: $18 per day per child

Professional instruction for this camp will be provided by local High School Basketball Coach Roy DeLaPena. Participants will obtain training of fundamentals through a variety of skills and drills, along with frequent basketball games against fellow campers.
