There are always fun things to do on weekends but sometimes you want to do something with your kids during the week. I've picked out a few ideas of fun things to do and the best part is most of them are FREE!

Monday, March 21

Keach Family Library (Nueces County Library System) Innovation Hour at 5:30 pm
Ages 5 and up.

Tuesday, March 22

Robert Wollman Planetarium at King High School at 5:30 pm and 7 pm
Tickets go on sale 30 minutes prior to each show time. There is no late seating. Reservations are not required for the Tuesday evening shows. Tips: The planetarium does get cold at times. For evening shows, it might be a good idea to bring a jacket or sweater.
Cost: Admission (cash or check) Adults $4 Seniors (age 55+): $3, Children (age 4-15) $3, Children under 4 free

Janet F. Harte Public Library Kids' After-school Movie at 4:15 pm
Join us as we enjoy a family favorite. We provide a snack and drink, but you are welcome to bring your own munchies, a blanket, and pillow! Open to all ages.

Whataburger Super Duper Family Night from 5-7 pm 
Get the kids dressed up in their favorite super hero costume and head over to Whataburger for Super Duper Family night here will be games, an appearance by Whataguy, balloon twisties, face painting artist, and Radio Remote by 97.5 KFTX.

Wednesday, March 23

Art Center of Corpus Christi Family Art Time from 5 to 9 pm
A kids art project - FREE for the whole family to enjoy. All ages are welcome (children accompanied by parent/guardian), drop-in art activity, no registration, wear your painting garb!

Ben F. McDonald Public Library Family Fun Night at 6 pm
Easter story and craft.

Thursday, March 24

Bell/Whittington Public Library Easter Egg Hunt 10 am
Bring your basket and join the fun! Meet in the children's area of the library after Mr. Kippy's 9 a.m. storytime to line up for the egg hunt. Don't be late! Mr. Kippy will have a second storytime after the Easter Egg hunt too! This is event is open and free to all kids and made possible with funding from The Friends of the Library and H-E-B!

Art Museum of South Texas Moms & Tots (And Sometimes Pops!) Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! from 10 to 11:30 am
In celebration of March being Dr. Seuss’ birth month, we’re using such classics as The Cat in the Hat, The Lorax,Green Eggs and Ham to inspire our art projects. Don’t miss out on this zany, fun-filled Moms & Tots class!
