You can find some FREE ideas at to keep your kids busy this Summer here.  The libraries have a FULL schedule of fun and you can find that along with Summer reading program info.  Also make sure to check out the annual Summer events guide. Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walk from 8 to 9 am
Get in touch with nature while the weather is still nice.  Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather.  Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. Bell Whittington Public Library (Portland) Summer Kids Time at 10 am
Stories, crafts, and activities geared for younger children.

Janet Harte Family Loom Knitting at 2 pm
Calling all families! Looking for something fun for you and your little ones to learn together? Well we have some fun stuff in store for you. Join us for some family loom knitting. Hurricane Alley Waterpark's Tuesday Night Dive-In Movies: Jurassic Park with Dinos Alive CC
The park is fully operational for the entire night with an enormous big screen set up high above on the Storm Surge stage.

Michaels Stores Camp Creativity: Castles and Princesses from 10 am to 12 pm
Kids 3 and up can participate a Summer crafting journey in fun crafty activities like face painting and theme crafting like Princess's and castles, Land of the dinosaurs and so much more! Parent or guardian must remain on premises.

La Palmera Edu-Art Painting Event from 2-5 pm
All kids ages 12 and under, plus Mom and Dad (or any caregiver), are invited to find their inner artist and learn about the Coral Reef. Guided by the talented students and faculty of the Texas A&M Corpus Christi, the event includes all paint supplies and instruction.
