You can find some FREE ideas at to keep your kids busy this Summer here.  The libraries have a FULL schedule of fun and you can find that along with Summer reading program info.  Also make sure to check out the annual Summer events guide. Michaels Stores Camp Creativity: Pet City from 10 am to 12 pm
Kids 3 and up can participate a Summer crafting journey in fun crafty activities like face painting and theme crafting like Princess's and castles, Land of the dinosaurs and so much more! Parent or guardian must remain on premises.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walk from 8 to 9 am
Get in touch with nature while the weather is still nice.  Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather.  Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. Early Scholars Academy Family Summer Camp: Storm Chasers from 6:00-7:30 pm
Wind and Water Exploration! Learn about the water cycle and taking care of our earth, as well as experiment with water and evaporation outside. Play with a free South Texas resource—wind—by making pin wheels, wind socks and tornado bottles out of recyclables.

San Antonio Spurs NBA Danny Green Meet and Greet Event presented by the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department from 6 to 7 pm 
Spurs Super-Star Danny Green is well-known for his three-pointers. The 2014 National Basketball Association (NBA) Champion is scheduled to sign autographs for his young fans and public is invited. Parents are also encouraged to register their children at the meet-and-greet event for the clinic that will be held for youth grades 2-12 on July 14, from 9am to 3pm at Incarnate Word Academy in Corpus Christi or register online at DannyGreenNBA.com.

Join Oso Preserve staff as they read nature children’s books, explore artifacts and meet animal ambassadors. We invite you to spend time learning more about local topics through children’s literature. Each story will be supplemented with a walk, animal artifact, or live animal visitor. Corpus Christi Hooks Mike Shaw Automotive Thirsty Thursday at 7:05 pm (gates open 6:05)
Thirsty Thursday (discounted soda and beer), from Stripes. After 8:30 a.m. on the 9th, go to the Stripes Facebook Page to learn the Stripes Thirsty Thursday Word of the Day.
