Fulton Mansion State Historic Site: Fulton's Funeral Tours at 6:30 pm
Join us as we journey back in time to the days following George Fulton’s death on October 30, 1893, in an after-dark, guided tour of the Mansion’s poignant funeral exhibit that recreates the death and mourning customs common in the nineteenth-century home. The event honors both the musical works of Mozart, while celebrating the Latin holiday Dia de Los Muertos, in a night full of performances of opera scenes from Don Giovanni, Cosi fan tutti, Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute), and Die Entführung aus dem Serail (The Abduction of the Seraglio). Makeup and costume contest for kids and adults.

Goose Island State Park Star Party at 7 pm
This weekend is the New Moon, and by that we mean no moon in the sky! Join us for a night of star gazing at Goose Island State Park! This program will meet at 7 p.m. in the Day Use/ Picnic Area of Goose Island State Park. At the start of the program we will go over some of the tools you can use for star gazing while we wait for the sun to go down. After the sun goes down participants will be introduced to some of the constellations you can see in the fall night sky.

Haunting on the Blue Ghost from 7 to 10:30 pm
Strange things are creeping along Corpus Christi Bay. LEX will be haunted from and the ghosts will be waiting for you! The terrifying tour takes the bravest of souls down to the 2nd and 3rd decks of the WWII era aircraft carrier to spaces never before opened to the public. You should be ready to handle steep ladders, dark corridors, creaky hatchways and unimaginable sights, screams and sounds. This is an intense haunted experience – think twice before enlisting! Ages 6 and up, must be able to navigate ladders and confined spaces.

Very Scary Chess Tournament from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Open to all school age kids. There will be 5 rounds of very scary chess games. We will have lots of yummy and spooky goodies for sale. All kids and parents are encouraged to wear their costumes for a costume contest. It is a rated tournament, so a USCF membership is required (we can set you up). Port Aransas Sand Pumpkin Patch from 10 am to 1 pm
Celebrate Halloween on the beach. Bring the whole family or come alone to carve your very own pumpkin head out of sand. The "pumpkin patch" will have a sculpture created by master sculptors with vines coming out of it. The vines will have pumpkin heads created from the sand for kids of ALL ages to carve any way they choose. Experts and voluteers will be on hand to help led by expert sandsculptor Mark Landrum and Community Program Coordinator Pam Greene.

"Trunk or Treating" begins at 6:30 p.m. and goes until 7:30 p.m. Trunks may be setup at 6:00 p.m. with activities inside for families with children. Popcorn will be served. Prizes for "Most Interactive" and "Most Creative" trunks. Costumes and decorations welcome. Not too scary please.

Fulton Mansion State Historic Site: Fulton's Funeral Tours at 6:30 pm
Join us as we journey back in time to the days following George Fulton’s death on October 30, 1893, in an after-dark, guided tour of the Mansion’s poignant funeral exhibit that recreates the death and mourning customs common in the nineteenth-century home. Tours are 30 minutes in length and begin promptly. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour. Limited to 8 people per tour. Limited to children 10 and older.
Cost: Adults: $6 / Youth: $4, Pre-registration required. Tickets sold in advance at the Education and History Center.

Haunting on the Blue Ghost from 7 to 10:30 pm
Strange things are creeping along Corpus Christi Bay. LEX will be haunted from and the ghosts will be waiting for you! The terrifying tour takes the bravest of souls down to the 2nd and 3rd decks of the WWII era aircraft carrier to spaces never before opened to the public. You should be ready to handle steep ladders, dark corridors, creaky hatchways and unimaginable sights, screams and sounds. This is an intense haunted experience – think twice before enlisting! Ages 6 and up, must be able to navigate ladders and confined spaces.

Texas Sealife Center Haunted Trail and Carnival at 8 pm
You've toured the ASYLUM. You survived the FUNHOUSE. This year... we're all about the SCARES! Come get scared for the animals! 100% of the proceeds go to support the Texas Sealife Center! We will also have activities for the kiddos and the ones who don't want to be scared! Hope to scare you there!
