Just because October is over doesn't mean all the fun is coming to an end. Fall festivals are still iin full swing and we're starting to see some Holiday themed activities. There's still plenty for your family to do. Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Art Museum of South Texas Free First Friday from 10 am - 5 pm
The first Friday of every month is free public admission to the Art Museum of South Texas. The Gift Shop and Hester's Cafe also are open to the public.

53rd Annual Greek Festival of Corpus Christi from 5 to 11 pm

Marina Arts District Downtown Artwalk from 5:30 to 10 pm
On the first Friday of every month you’ll find artists, musicians and all things creative converge in the Marina Arts District. It's where Downtown comes alive with bands on every block, food trucks serving up South Texas fare, and art galleries featuring local and national artists. Take in the free live music and local flavors outside, find a nice watering hole to duck into for a quick drink, or grab a bite to eat. Make sure to stop by the The Historic Ritz Theatre to view the Altars of Remembrance display at 715 N Chaparral St.

Goose Island State Park Star Party from 6:30 to 7:30 pm
Join us for a night of star gazing at Goose Island State Park! At the start of the program we will go over some of the tools you can use for star gazing while we wait for the sun to go down. After the sun goes down participants will be introduced to some of the constellations you can see in the fall night sky.
Cost: Park entrance fees $5 per person 13 & up, children 12 & under are free. There is no fee for Texas State Park Pass holders.

Lake Corpus Christi State Park A Walk With the Expert from 8 am to 12 pm
Come join us for a bird watching and nature walk event with award winning author & educator Gene Blacklock at Lake Corpus Christi State Park. Gene Blacklock is the author of “Birds of Texas, a Field Guide” as well as “Birds of the Texas Coastal Bend.” The event will begin at the Old HQ Pavilion “Castle”. Be sure to wear good walking shoes and bring a water bottle. Binoculars and cameras are recommended but not required.

Home Depot Kids Workshop from 9 am to 12 pm
Join our hands-on workshop and you and your child can build a toy fire truck with real wheels so you can race it to the rescue! Once the toy truck is built, your child can decorate it with paint & vehicle stickers. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin. All store participate! NOTE: Craft may be substituted.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks! from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. The parking lot is now open. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. Rockin' K Maze Toys for Tots & Antique Muscle Car Show from 10 am - 8 pm
Christmas comes early to Rockin’ K Maze this year! We are thrilled that Toys for Tots is joining us all day on Saturday, Santa Claus will be at the farm for jolly photo ops, too! (Sunday we will still accept toys, however Toys for Tots, Car Show and Santa will not be at the maze.) Please bring a new toy donation unwrapped for kids of all ages and receive $2.00 off admission. Marina Arts District BridgeWalk from 8:30 am - 11 am 
Registration starts at 7:15 am and Walk begins at 8:30 pm,  BridgeWalk is a monthly opportunity to get some exercise with a one of a kind view. The bridge route takes you up and over the beautiful Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge. The Alternate route for those with strollers, small children, and animals can take the scenic route down along the water to the Marina T Heads and back. Both routes are measured to be 6020 yards (3.42 miles).
