The fun doesn't stop just because the weekend is over. Make sure to follow the Facebook page because we are always posting events as they come up! Our libraries keep us busy so make sure to check their schedules for full activity lists. Texas State Aquarium Teen STEM Café from 6-7:30 pm
Teen STEM Cafes are FREE programs open to all teens ages 14-18. They are a great opportunity to connect with local teens while learning about exciting STEM topics. This month’s guest is Dr. Jeffrey Turner from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and he will present on flesh-eating bacteria. Light snacks will be provided. Cost: Free. For questions, call 361-881-1319. Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walk from 8 to 9 am
Get in touch with nature while the weather is still nice. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the front porch of the Learning Center. Robert Wollman Planetarium at King High School at 6 pm
Tickets go on sale 30 minutes prior to each show time. There is no late seating. Reservations are not required for the Tuesday evening shows. Tips: The planetarium does get cold at times. For evening shows, it might be a good idea to bring a jacket or sweater.
