Home and garden show with Kids Zone plus pet adoptions onsite all weekend by the Gulf Coast Humane Society & For The Love of Strays. Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History Home School Day - Science of Love 10 am to 12 pm
Is love one experiment you just can't seem to get right? Or, do you have it down to a science? Join us as we break down the foundation of the age-old phenomenon with hands on activities!
Cost: $5 for members, $10 for non-members

Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History NightLab 6 pm to 8 am
Open to ages 5 -12.
Cost: $45/child, $20/adult

Saturday, February 18

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Great Backyard Bird Count from 9 am to 12 pm
Fun event to that allows bird watchers of all ages to create a real-time snapshot of bird populations. Bird counting will be set up at the end of the Sensory Trail along with special programs throughout the morning. Binoculars and field guides will be provided.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks! from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Teen Bookfest by the Bay from 9 to 4:30 pm
Teens can interact with published authors and hear their stories. The teens come away with a greater sense of the life of an author and what it takes to create a story, as well as an increased appreciation for the written word.

Padre Island National Seashore Annual Kite Day at 10 am
Kids can make their own kite for free (while supplies last)! Kite-flying clubs will give tips and demonstrate techniques. Expect lots of whimsical kites and family fun at the seashore!
Cost: Free with paid park entrance fee ($10 for a week's pass per vehicle or $20 for an annual pass).

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi LEGO Batman Movie Birthday Bash at 10 am
We will celebrate by having a game and singing Happy Birthday prior to the film with your awesome Alamo Drafthouse party host.

Art Center of Corpus Christi Family Art Time from 10 am to 2 pm
Free fun art time for families every Saturday! Families of all ages are welcome. CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT, drop-in art activity, no registration. While supplies last.

Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History Little Learners Hour - Weather 10 to 11 am
Future Meteorologists don’t want to miss this Little Learners Hour. Discover common Coastal Bend weather phenomena and do your own weather forecast with your little one! Help us welcome local Meteorologist Maclovio Perez and learn to forecast the weather! Ages 0 – 5.
Cost: $5 for members, $10 for non-members

Texas State Aquarium Creature Tales at 10 am
Join us as we bring a children’s story to life for you and your young learner. These 30 minute, monthly programs combine reading and wildlife as a way to build early language skills, peak curiosity for nature, and support family learning time in a safe and exciting environment. After listening and participating along with the storyteller, children will meet an animal from the story. This program is specifically designed for families with children ages 6 and under.
Cost: Member Price: $7 for each child/adult pair. One additional child per adult $5. Non-Member Price: $10 for each child/adult pair plus Aquarium admission. One additional child per adult $5, plus admission. LIMITED spots available. Michaels Stores Kids Club Potted Cactus from 10 am to 12 pm
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick project and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Texas State Aquarium Dollar Day from 10 am to 5 pm
Children 2 and under will receive free admission, and parking is included with admission offer an admission price of one dollar for all visitors. Along with the special price, there will be an enhanced schedule of programs for the day, and H-E-Buddy will be available for photo opportunities with guests.
