Art Museum of South Texas Free First Friday from 10 am - 5 pm
The first Friday of every month is free public admission to the Art Museum of South Texas. The Gift Shop and Hester's Cafe also are open to the public.

37th Annual Fulton Oysterfest from 5 to 11 pm
A salute to the tasty bi-valve found in our local waters. Oysterfest features carnival rides, games, food, an oyster eating contest, live music, unique vendor booths and most of all - FUN.

Marina Arts District Downtown Artwalk from 5:30 to 10 pm
On the first Friday of every month you’ll find artists, musicians and all things creative converge in the Marina Arts District. It's where Downtown comes alive with bands on every block, food trucks serving up South Texas fare, and art galleries featuring local and national artists. Take in the free live music and local flavors outside, find a nice watering hole to duck into for a quick drink, or grab a bite to eat. There will be a Mascot Dance off during our March ArtWalk event!

Garcia Arts & Education Center from 6 to 8 pm
Family Night Out includes a variety of educational groups as well as entertaining and therapeutic activities. Groups and activities include: art, games and action exercises, stress management, psycho-education, and community education. The groups and activities focus on decreasing family conflict, increasing family cohesion, and promoting healthy family management. Emphasis is placed on healthy beliefs, family bonding, emotional awareness and expression, and communication skill building. Cost: Free

Home Depot Kids Workshop from 9 am to 12 pm
Join our hands-on workshop and you and your child can build a rain gauge house, so you and your budding scientist can measure the rain dropped by spring storms. Once the gauge is built, your child can paint their project to personalize it. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks! from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. The Learning Garden-Tom Graham Park The ART of Edibles in the Garden from 10 am to 1 pm
"The ART of Edibles in the Garden" is March's Educational Workshop and is FREE to all! This Hands on Workshop is presented in collaboration with GROW Local South Texas and K Space Contemporary funded by Coastal Bend Community Foundation! Hands on Workshop will include: Herb tasting 10am-11:30am, Seeds starting and planting 11:30am-1pm, 10am-1pm the start of our new community mural projects!

The show will feature educational displays, live demonstrations of lapidary art and jewelry-making techniques, silent auction, Kid's Wheel and touch table. Vendors will be selling gem and mineral specimens, jewelry, and more. There will be hourly door prizes and a grand-prize drawing.

As the sun sets behind the big construction site, all the hardworking trucks get ready to say goodnight. Coastal Bend Bays and Estuaries Program Delta Discovery Days - Family Picnic from 11 am to 2 pm
We will have Dutch Oven cooking demonstrations, tall tales of the Texas Bluebonnet along with arts and crafts for the kids. Please bring a picnic lunch and plenty of water for everyone. Staff will be scattered around the area to answer questions and give background information on plants, animals, and history. We look forward to seeing you there!

Art Museum of South Texas Free City Shapes and Sounds Super Saturday Art Workshop from 1 to 3 pm
After viewing the work of Stuart Davis in the Guild Hall: Adventures in the Arts exhibit, we’ll listen to jazz (a big influence on his work) and create a city street scene collage full of hustle and bustle!

Marina Arts District BridgeWalk from 8:30 am - 11 am 
Registration starts at 7:15 am and Walk begins at 8:30 pm,  BridgeWalk is a monthly opportunity to get some exercise with a one of a kind view. The bridge route takes you up and over the beautiful Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge. The Alternate route for those with strollers, small children, and animals can take the scenic route down along the water to the Marina T Heads and back. Both routes are measured to be 6020 yards (3.42 miles).
