Early Scholars Academy Spring Festival at 9 am
Spring is sprouting at the Early Scholars Academy! Jump with your children into spring-inspired hands-on learning. Melt away the winter blues by having them dress in their favorite spring attire. Buzz into a storytelling session, or let the breeze blow you into any discovery room you desire for creative arts and crafts!
Cost: $10 per child with online registration. $12 at the door. Parents are required to attend this event with children.

Harbor Playhouse Presents Madagascar - A Musical Adventure at 7:30 pm
Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo and of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto the stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime. Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure follows all of your favorite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.

Wings Over South Texas Air Show at 9 am
There will be all kinds of fun including entertainment and a Kids' Zone with activities for kids of all ages (1 ticket for $1).
Cost: Admission is free but you can purchase preferred seating and tickets online.
NAS Corpus Christi’s Main Gate (South Gate) will open at 8 am. Visitors will be directed to parking adjacent to the NASCC seawall.

South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center Big Bloom Plant Sale and Dollar Day from 9 am to 5 pm
Fun for the whole family with a massive plant sale, butterfly and ladybug releases, parrot and reptile shows, trail tours, children’s activities, vendors, food trucks and much more!
Cost: $1 admission, free for members

Home Depot Kids Workshop from 9 am to 12 pm
Join our hands-on workshop and you and your child can build a rain gauge house, so you and your budding scientist can measure the rain dropped by spring storms. Once the gauge is built, your child can paint their project to personalize it. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks! from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. PBS Kids at the Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi: Wild Kratts at 10:45 am
This is an all-ages show with Alamo for All rules - noisy young fans won't be asked to leave the theater but we do ask that cellphones and other devices stay dark. This month PBS KIDS at the Alamo Drafthouse features brand new WILD KRATTS episodes, including a special premiere of Deep Sea Adventure. The Kratt Brothers will introduce us to new and beloved animals as they embark on their newest adventures in the animal kingdom. Young explorers and animal lovers will have a blast seeing their favorite characters on the big screen while parents enjoy the great food and beverages the Alamo Drafthouse is known for.

Be our guest as we celebrate the release of the new Beauty and the Beast movie. Art Museum of South Texas Super Saturday Art Workshop I Can't Believe My Eyes! from 1 to 3 pm
After viewing the work of Stuart Davis in the Guild Hall: Adventures in the Arts exhibit, we’ll listen to jazz (a big influence on his work) and create a city street scene collage full of hustle and bustle!

La Palmera Bunny Cares from 9 am to 11 am
A wonderful opportunity for special needs children and their families, providing a sensory-friendly environment and extra time for those who may have developmental or physical challenges. The event provides some quiet one-on-one time for photos with the Easter Bunny before the mall opens — no fountain, no background music, no crowds. Bunny Cares is provided in partnership with AbilityPath.org, Autism Speaks and The Noerr Programs, which oversees photo programs at La Palmera.

Chuck E. Cheese’s Sensory Sensitive Sundays from 9 to 11 am
A sensory-friendly experience a while back ago for families who have children with autism and special needs. Less crowding and noised, dimmed lighting, show and music turned off or down, limited appearances by Chuck E, food and games offered, however parents are permitted to bring snacks for their children if needed due to dietary restrictions during Sensory Sensitive Sundays.
