June is finally here and school is out for the Summer!This means every weekend is going to be packed with of fun things to do! Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Always check with the organizations for the most updated information or if you have any questions. We appreciate the shares and likes. If we're missing something, let us know! Friday, June 2

Art Museum of South Texas Frost Free Friday from 10 am - 5 pm
The first Friday of every month is free public admission to the Art Museum of South Texas. The Gift Shop and Hester's Cafe also are open to the public.

Harbor Playhouse Presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast at 7:30 pm
Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's modern classic, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, an international sensation that has played to over 35 million people worldwide in 13 countries. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
Cost: Adult tickets are $18, children $10 and seniors/military/students are $15. Purchase online or at box office.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Home Depot Kids Workshop from 9 am to 12 pm
Join our hands-on workshop and you and your child can build a wooden tic-tac-toe game to play with family or friends almost anywhere. Once the project is complete, your child can personalize their game board and pieces with paint and stickers. All kids get to keep their project, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.

Art Center of Corpus Christi Family Art Time from 10 am to 2 pm
Free fun art time for families every Saturday! Families of all ages are welcome. CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT, drop-in art activity, no registration. While supplies last.

Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History Medieval Spain Day from 10 am – 5 pm
Travel back in time to Medieval Spain with the Shire of Seawinds. Watch with excitement as fully clad knights do battle! Listen to a song from a minstrel as he sings you a melodic story of heroic acts of honor and glory. Transform yourself in to a luxurious lord or lady of a glittering, magnificent court! Let your imagination play and immerse yourself in Medieval Spain. Food trucks will be available in the plaza.

Michaels Kids Club Sprout Flip Book from 10 am to 12 pm
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids: Nature Cat Ocean Commotion at 10:30 am
Reserve your seat with a donation with all ticket sales benefiting education programs at your local PBS station. This is an all-ages show with Alamo for All rules - noisy young fans won't be asked to leave the theater but we do ask that cellphones and other devices stay dark.

Barnes and Noble If You Ever Want to Bring a Circus to the Library, Don't! Storytimeat 11 am
If you see a poster that says "You Can Do Anything at the Library!," it is NOT giving you permission to put on a circus! But Magnolia doesn't see any problem with setting up her own big top. She's got a lot of gusto and one mean human cannonball routine. So what if her greatest show on Earth won't fit between the bookshelves? Activities to follow.

Marina Arts District BridgeWalk from 8:30 am - 11 am 
Registration starts at 7:15 am and Walk begins at 8:30 pm,  BridgeWalk is a monthly opportunity to get some exercise with a one of a kind view. The bridge route takes you up and over the beautiful Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge. The Alternate route for those with strollers, small children, and animals can take the scenic route down along the water to the Marina T Heads and back. Both routes are measured to be 6020 yards (3.42 miles).

Chuck E. Cheese’s Sensory Sensitive Sundays from 9 to 11 am
A sensory-friendly experience a while back ago for families who have children with autism and special needs. Less crowding and noised, dimmed lighting, show and music turned off or down, limited appearances by Chuck E, food and games offered, however parents are permitted to bring snacks for their children if needed due to dietary restrictions during Sensory Sensitive Sundays.
