Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Summer vacation is literally days away but the fun has already started! We have a lot to do all over Corpus Christi this weekend. Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Always check with the organizations for the most updated information or if you have any questions. We appreciate the shares and likes. Gates open 6:05 pm. Night 2 of the Dia de los Hooks Celebration! Dia de los Hooks Jersey & Sugar Skull Auction, on concourse at Sections 120-121. Friday Fireworks postgame, presented by Bud Light. National Anthem by Mariachi Azul y Plata – Ben Bolt High School. Ballet Folklorico Citali performs at the main gates pregame. Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks! from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Art Center of Corpus Christi Family Art Time from 10 am to 2 pm
Free fun art time for families every Saturday! Families of all ages are welcome. CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT, drop-in art activity, no registration. While supplies last.

South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind Rubber Duck Round-Up from 10 to 2 pm
Rubber duck race to benefit the South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind, live music, food and drinks, a petting zoo, pony rides, coloring contest, “Ring around the Rubber Duck,”and much more! Ducks will take the plunge at approximately 12:45 off of Cole Park pier as their proud parents cheer them on to victory.

Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History Little Learners Hour - Bugs! from 10 – 11 am
Buzz into the museum with your little one to learn all about insects! Discover bees, butterflies, and all kinds of bugs we find here in the Coastal Bend and participate in a lady bug release!

The Dia de los Hooks procession begins at 6:20; winds its way through the Driscoll Health Plan Kids Zone from left to right, then circles the warning track. Come watch the coolest girls in town in action! Performances by all the ChicasRock classes: ChiquitasRock, Beginner ChicasRock, Intermediate ChicasRock, Advance Jr. class and Advance Teen Class. Plus learn about their Summer camps!

PLEASE CHECK WEATHER! This Memorial Day Moms Run this Town Corpus Christi will be hosting a family friendly run/walk event to honor the memory and sacrifices of those service members. It would be an amazing way to show our children the importance of this day and its true meaning.
