Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walk from 8 to 9 am 
Get in touch with nature while the weather is still nice. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the front porch of the Learning Center. Early Scholars Academy Family Summer Camp from 6 to 7:30 pm
For families with children ages 4-12. Designed for maximum fun, this camp will encourage children and their parents to interact with one another and learn by playing. Using the various learning pods, families will be offered the following topics and activities.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Storytime at 3:30 pm
Join Oso Preserve staff members as they read nature themed children’s books, explore artifacts, and meet the animal ambassadors. Learn more about native wildlife, habitats, adaptations and other topics through relevant children’s stories. This program is FREE of charge and intended for children ages 2-6. Each story will be supplemented with a walk, artifact, animal ambassador or other interactive. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. Gates open 6:05 pm. Take part in the Bush's Beans Food Drive. Present a canned food item at the rolling black receptacle near the ticket office and receive a voucher for a buy- one, get-one-free ticket offer for that night's game. Thirsty Thursday (discounted soda and beer), from Stripes. After 8:30 a.m. on the 27th, go to the Stripes Facebook Page to learn the Stripes Thirsty Thursday Word of the Day. Later that day or night, repeat the word at the Whataburger Field box office and receive a free Hooks Thirsty Thursday reserved-seat or general admission ticket for each Thirsty Thursday ticket purchased.
