Summer fun continues with so many fun activities this weekend! Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Padre Island National Seashore Turtle Hatchling Release at 6:45 am 
A turtle hatchling release is expected between  July 21-24. Dates are always tentative but you can call the Hatchling Hotline the morning of to make sure it at 361-949-7163 for the latest information about the release

Port Aransas Community Theatre Presents Disney's The Lion King at 7:30 pm (and 2:30 pm on Sunday)
Rafiki gathers all the animals to weclome the newborn cub of King Mufasas and Queen Sarabi. The king's jealous brother, Scar, no longer heir to the throne, skips the ceremony, upsetting Mufasa. Young Simba grows into a curious young lion, Mufasas explains the circle of life and that the young Simba will one day be King of the Pirdelands. Young Simba shares this news with Scar, who encourages his nephew to visit the forbidden Elephant Graveyard and the adventures begin as Scar tries to kill Simba and Mufasas. A wonderful family Disney production. A must see. The circle of life.

Kids 3 and up can participate a Summer crafting journey. This year they are using Disney Craft Kits. Parent or guardian must remain on premises.

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids: Back in Creature Time at 9:30 am

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult.

Discover the Dinosaurs Unleashed from 9 am to 7 pm
Venture back to a time when the dinosaurs roamed the earth at Discover the Dinosaurs UNLEASHED! Experience up-close encounters with a lifelike Stegosaurus, Velociraptor and the king T-Rex in this thrilling walk-through exhibit. Kids can also meet a baby dinosaur, take a spin in the Jurassic Jeeps on the Dino Raceway and visit the Kids Adventure Zone filled with themed bouncy houses, crafts, face painting and more. Parents and kids can test their skills playing an all-new Mesozoic Mini Golf course, become junior paleontologists while completing the scavenger hunt, and dig for fossils in the Valley of the Bones. It’s family fun of prehistoric proportions!

Barnes and Noble What Do You Do With a Problem? Storytime at 11 am
This is the story of a persistent problem and the child who isn't so sure what to make of it. The longer the problem is avoided, the bigger it seems to get. But when the child finally musters up the courage to face it, the problem turns out to be something quite different than it appeared. Activities to follow.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Wetlands Workshop Casting Objects in Resin at 1:30 pm 
Join us in learning to create enduring art out of our curious artifacts! All equipment provided and each person can keep what they cast. Program is for ages 12 and up. Program is limited to 20 participants.
