Tie-Dyes for Harvey Relief from 1 - 3 pm
It's time to put your rainbow on and bring a smile to our Harvey survivors and heroes. Let’s gift as many neighbors as we can with a new, colorful shirt dyed by hand and made with LOVE. Some of us can't do heavy work, but we can help in our own way. Have a great time helping out and learn to tie-dye! Shirts will be processed and ironed by volunteers, then distributed to folks and organizations deeply affected by Harvey. Contacts in Tivoli, Port A, Rockport, Bayside, etc. are standing by to spread the love to anyone who would enjoy an original, free "Grateful Dye."
Cost: Bring a package (5-6 shirts) of new, 100% cotton t-shirts to Railroad Seafood Station on September 16th at 1pm. Tie dye as many shirts as you can and take one home. Art instruction, Dyes, aprons, gloves, and all materials will be provided free of charge. You provide the labor and the TLC. After shirts are processed and ironed, they will be delivered to organizations and nearby towns severely affected by Harvey.
