It's the weekend before Halloween! That means there are a ton of Fall festivals and Halloween events going on. Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Always check with the organizations for the most updated event information or if you have any questions. We appreciate the shares and likes. If we're missing something, let us know! Del Mar College Viking Fall Carnival from 5 to 10 pm
Bones will clatter and teeth will chatter as Del Mar College holds its annual spooky fun fair featuring goblins and games, prizes for best costumes, and food and fun for everyone. Sponsored by Del Mar College’s Student Leadership and Campus Life Office and DMC registered student organizations, participants can expect a howling good time while helping student groups raise funds for their organizations and the worthy community causes they support.

The Hauntings of Boogeyman is a haunt that is over 3,000 square feet. It is a maze of monsters and scares. The Hauntings of Boogeyman centered the rooms of the maze around most people's deepest fears in hopes of giving a true memorable scare. All ages are welcome but small children must be able to walk.

USS Lexington Haunted House - Haunting On the Blue Ghost: Blackout Friday from 7-10:30 pm 
Experience 20 minutes of Total Darkness, 2 Floors, 85 Rooms, over 100 Monster, and a small battery operated candle. The terrifying tour takes the bravest of souls down to the 2nd and 3rd decks of the WWII era aircraft carrier. You should be ready to handle steep ladders, dark corridors, creaky hatchways and unimaginable sights, screams, and sounds. This is an intense haunted experience – think twice before enlisting! Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Halloween Special Creepy Critters of Oso Preserve from 10:15 to 12 pm 
Come learn about creepy, gross and otherwise strange things that live at the Oso Preserve! Don’t worry, you will be quite safe. You will learn that these species may be creepy and strange but they are not mean or nasty and with a little understanding, they can be downright interesting! We’ll talk about insects that eat their prey alive, strange life cycles where babies are hatched inside other animals and seemingly gross habits of some of our critters! Program is designed for ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The public will be welcomed to come to the arena for open ice skating for all as we dim the lights and transform the arena into a spooky and fun place for people to skate and provide a safe spot to have some trick or treating around the arena bowl! Doors open at 3 pm. There will be one session, 4-8pm. Ice skates available, first come-first-serve basis (limited quantities in each size) and socks are required to skate. 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult/guardian and all skaters need to sign a waiver. Trick or treating will be happening along with fun photo opportunities, costume contests, music, craft area, and scary snacks and freaky drinks!
