Another October weekend coming up! There is always plenty for your family to do in the Fall. Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Blimpie's Grand Opening from 10 am to 8 pm 
$1 regular subs for the first 1000 people. Live Remote by The Beach 96.5 from 10 am-2 pm. Ribbon Cutting with the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce from 4-5 pm. Face Painting by Those Two Artists from 4-7 pm, live music by The Meza Band and much more!

Rockport-Fulton Seafair from 5 to 10 pm
Family fun all weekend including: cook-offs and more delicious seafood as well as live national entertainment, festival rides, games, arts and crafts vendors, wakeboarding competition, a parade, and wildly popular crab races.

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket to enjoy creepy favorite sponsored by Port Corpus Christi on lawn in the Corpus Christi Watergardens! Movie begins at 8:30 pm,. This movie is rated PG-13.

Nightmare At The Water Street Village from 5 to 10 pm
Art Bazaar with a wicked twist! Wear your spookiest costume and join in the fun. Artists, crafts, baked goods, music, face painting, tarot card gypsy and so much more. Live Belly Dance performance at 7 P.M. Italian food on site from Pappa Joey's and food trucks. Enjoy Friday the 13th with us, your local community.  Kid friendly.

Hauntings of Boogeyman Haunted House from 7 pm to midnight
The Hauntings of Boogeyman is a haunt that is over 3,000 square feet. It is a maze of monsters and scares. The Hauntings of Boogeyman centered the rooms of the maze around most people's deepest fears in hopes of giving a true memorable scare. All ages are welcome but small children must be able to walk.
Cost: $13 for both haunts (Friday the 13th special)

Early Scholars Academy Family Fun Day from 9 to 11 am 
Bring your children, ages 3 ½ to 8, for interactive learning experiences developed for the entire family. Each day will have themed activities in one of the following exploration pod: Designs for all Kinds in All Things Living Show off your creativity while learning how humans as well as plants and animals survive and function in our changing world.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Family Science Explorations: All about Crabs! from 9 to 10 am
Explore science topics as a family! This 2-hour program provides a science exploration experience similar to camps or field trips, but you get to bring your family! Crabs! – Did you know there is over 40 species of crabs on the Texas coast? Hermet crabs, blue crabs, spider crabs,,....etc... Come learn about them, dissect a crab, learn about their unique life cycles and even try your hand at catching crabs! For ages 5 and up, limited to 25 people.

Screening of the short films submitted to the Harte of the Gulf Film Competition, giveaways, educational activities, interactive booths, raffle prizes, a craft table, a selfie station, and much more! Fun for all ages!  Booths and activities open at 10am Film screenings start at 11am ~there will be a brief break for lunch - either bring your own lunch or stop by a vendor on campus.

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids at the Alamo: Halloween Special at 10:30 am
Reserve your seat with a donation with all ticket sales benefiting education programs at your local PBS station. This is an all-ages show with Alamo for All rules - noisy young fans won't be asked to leave the theater but we do ask that cellphones and other devices stay dark.

Nueces Delta Preserve Discovery Day Family Picnics from 11 am – 2 pm 
Come and spend a few hours out with us at the Delta! Our Delta Discovery Picnics allow students who have visited the Delta through a school field trip to bring their families, share what they’ve learned, and explore a little more, but of course, everyone is welcome to come enjoy the sights and sounds of the Nueces Delta Preserve. Please bring a picnic lunch, picnic blanket, sunscreen/bug repellant, and plenty of water for everyone (we recommend at least two bottles per person). Staff will be scattered around the area to answer questions and give background information on plants, animals, and history. We look forward to seeing you out there!
