There's nothing greater than a Fall weekend packed with fun activities for the whole family! Festivals, Holiday events and more are in the works. Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Always check with the organizations for the most updated event information or if you have any questions. Aurora Arts Theatre Presents A Christmas Story The Musical
Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday 2:30 matinee
This musical, which received rave reviews on its Broadway run, is based on the movie classic that runs round-the-clock on television every Christmas. Set in the 1940s in the fictional town of Hohman, Indiana, the musical follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker and his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts—an Official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle. Rebuffed at every turn with a similar echoing response, Ralphie plots numerous schemes to achieve his desperate desire for the coveted BB gun.

Variety of activities, live music, vendors, carnival rides from Wagner’s Carnival with 30 different rides and attractions to choose from.
Cost: Admission is $5 per person per day. Kids 12 and under are free. Parking is free. Carnival wristbands are $22.

Harbor Playhouse Presents: A Christmas Carol at 7:30 pm
This timeless classic is a spectacular musical, which tells the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge as he goes through a series of strange events after being warned by his former business partner Jacob Marley to change his ways. This brilliant musical follows Scrooge on Christmas Eve, as he is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, which leads him to ultimately discover the true spirit of Christmas.

Saturday, November 18

King Ranch 26th Annual Ranch Hand Breakfast at 7 am
Enjoy a heaping plate of eggs, refried beans, biscuits and gravy, sausage and tortillas, accompanied by coffee and juice. Watch team roping demonstrations, re-enactors, musical entertainment, poetry and storytelling.
Cost: $6 per person. Children under 3 are FREE!

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

The Outlets at Corpus Christi Bay Santa's Arrival from 10 am-9 pm
Santa will be the featured celebrity in the Cottonfest Parade. The Parade ends at the Outlets at 10am and marks Santa’s official arrival for the season. All of the good little boys and girls will have the chance to have cookies and a visit with Santa before he gets really busy this holiday season.

Art Museum of South Texas Christmas Tree Forest: A Reading Wonderland from 1-5 pm
Once again reflecting the theme of A Reading Wonderland, 30 school groups read their chosen award-winning childhood classic book, created related decorations, and trimmed their trees accordingly. As an added bonus, AMST visitors may cast their votes for their top three favorite trees.

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids at the Alamo: Wild Kratts at 10:30 am

Half Price Books Booksgiving Day Celebration from 2-3 pm
Every child who attends will receive a FREE new book to take home. Limit one preselected new book per child while supplies last. Plus, for every book purchased online at HPB.com on Saturday, November 19, Half Price Books will donate a book to the nonprofit organization Feed the Children. Booksgiving Day is part of the Half Price Books Million Book Donation Project.
