Gorgeous weather is in the forecast! It's a slower weekend than usual but there are still many activities for you to do with your family. Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Always check with the organizations for the most updated event information or if you have any questions. We appreciate the shares and likes. Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Early Scholars Academy Family Fun Days at 9 am
Put on your engineering hats while you design machines for Earth as well as space. The sky has no limit! Bring your children, ages 3 ½ to 8, for interactive learning experiences developed for the entire family. This day will have themed activities in the of the following exploration pod: Destination Exploration: Space, Earth and Community rooms. Parents are required to attend this event with children.

Texas State Aquarium Creature Tales at 10 am
Read a story about a scaly reptile, then meet the star of the story in-person!
Cost: Member Price $7 for each child/adult pair. One additional child per adult $5. Non-member price: $10 for each child/adult pair plus Aquarium admission. One additional child per adult $5, plus admission. Limited spots available. Advanced online registration is highly recommended.

Michaels Kids Club Craft Stick Ornaments from 10 am - 12 pm
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick project and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. $2 per project, supplies included. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event. Enjoy some hands-on family crafting! Grownups and kids will work together to design and create colorful thumbprint ornaments.

Art Museum of South Texas Young Artist Workshop: Fall Prints from 10:30 am - 12 pm
Using fall leaves, corn on the cob, paint, and print making techniques, we'll create a beautiful autumn print that's perfect for the season!

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids at the Alamo: Wild Kratts at 10:30 am

USS Lexington Museum On The Bay Salute to Veterans Ceremony at 2 pm
There will be a Salute to Veterans Ceremony will take place at 2 pm and will include a tribute to our military and a wreath-laying. The Veterans Band will be aboard to Present the Colors and play patriotic music during the event.

GLOW 3rd Annual Community Fall Festival from 3 pm - sunset
Apple dunking, pumpkin painting, fall bake sale, a children's pie eating contest, local vendors' market and more. Craft beers, wines and cocktails will be available for sale. Proceeds from fall bake sale to benefit the Glow Rockport Foundation, providing scholarships to support RFHS seniors pursue their college dreams and goals.
