A La Mano! At Heritage Park (Food Truck Friday) from 11 am - 2 pm
Bring the kids to enjoy some food in the lovely Heritage Park. Check out the Instituto of Cultura Hispanica while you're there at 1617 N. Chaparral.

Garcia Arts and Education Center Family Night Out from 6-8 pm
Family Night Out is designed to foster open communication and improve relationships among family members. Groups and activities include: art, games and action exercises, stress management, psycho-education, and community education. The groups and activities focus on decreasing family conflict, increasing family cohesion, and promoting healthy family management. Emphasis is placed on healthy beliefs, family bonding, emotional awareness and expression, and communication skill building. Families: Enjoy a free hot meal and time together! Family Night Out is designed to foster open communication and improve relationships among family members.

Harbor Playhouse Presents Clue The Musical at 7:30 pm
The internationally popular game is now a fun filled musical which brings the world's best-known suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery!

Saturday, January 27

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Lake Corpus Christi State Park Texas Parks and Wildlife 26th Annual Kid Fish from 9 am to 3:30 pm
Kids ages 5 - 12 get to fish for rainbow trout for FREE! A small section of the lake will be stocked with 2,200 trout and fishing poles and bait will be provided for kids to use for fishing and take home with them. There also be plenty of games and a free hot dog lunch! Hourly sessions will start at 9 am and run through mid-afternoon. 100 kids per session, no advanced sign up-kids must be present! Park entry fees will also be waived and fishing will be open to the public afterward. No fishing license is required within the park. La Retama Central Library Secret Code of Cursive from 10 am to 1 pm  
Discover the art and beauty of Cursive Writing in a workshop designed and presented by Monica Garcia of K SPACE CONTEMPORARY. Participants will learn the basics of Cursive and Letters (The Secret Code), compare print and script styles, make observations and interpretations of historical documents written in script, learn to write a personal signature, transcribe a poem in cursive, create and decorate a small journal,plus much more.
