Kick off the Spring Break vacation with one or more of the many fun activities going on this weekend. Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Early Scholars Academy Dr. Seuss Story time: Blue Day at 9 am
The Early Scholars Academy is continuing to celebrate Dr. Seuss Birthday with story times. ESA will take you on an adventure through All Around the World with Dr. Seuss and his wacky and unique characters.

Art Museum of South Texas Dollar After Dark Before Ride-in Theater's Outdoor Movie from 5:30 to 9 pm
Come for the Art; Stay for the Movie! AMST presents Dollar After Dark with reduced museum admission before Corpus Christi Ride-In Theater's (in the Water Gardens) first movie of the season "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Enchanting elephants, tantalizing tigers, and amazing acrobats prepare to dazzle and astound. Harbor Playhouse Presents Annie at 7:30 pm
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Corpus Christi Ride-In Theater Presents Buffy The Vampire Slayer at 8 pm 
It's Clueless meets Dracula! Please join us for a free movie night as we kick off our 2018 season with this terribly fun 90s classic involving a snarky cheerleader (Kristy Swanson) who turns into a vampire slayer with the help of her old, patient trainer (Donald Sutherland). Food trucks and full bar provided by Corpus Christi Liquor Catering will open at 8pm. Showtime is at 8:30 p.m. Bring a chair/blanket. Riding a bike is encouraged! This movie is rated PG-13.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Break the Norm from 10 am to 2 pm
This is an annual event put on by Project HOPE, Project Turnaround, and YNOT! This community event is put together to "break the norm" of binge drinking and intoxication over Spring Break. We intend to provide the Coastal Bend with a drug-FREE, FUN, and informative family-friendly environment that promotes health and wellness. There will be music, Zumba with the fabulous Z Live Fit studio, with performances by Sisters of the Dance and Asian Martial Arts. Come hungry to purchase food from the Bad Boyz Tailgaterz. There will be giveaways, free raffle prizes, games and so much MORE!

Michaels Kids Club Foam Easter Egg from 10 am to 12 pm
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids at the Alamo: Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood at 10:30 am
Reserve your seat with a donation with all ticket sales benefiting education programs at your local PBS station. This is an all-ages show with Alamo for All rules - noisy young fans won't be asked to leave the theater but we do ask that cellphones and other devices stay dark.
