March is here already and like with most first weekends that means it's a busy one with something to do for the whole family! Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Always check with the organizations for the most updated event information or if you have any questions. We appreciate the shares and likes. 39th Annual Fultonfest Oysterfest 
Each year the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department sponsors Oysterfest, a salute to the tasty bi-valve found in our local waters. Oysterfest features carnival rides, games, food, an oyster eating contest, live music, unique vendor booths and most of all – FUN! Oysterfest officials have been working with seafood sources along the Texas Gulf Coast to locate the freshest oysters and other seafood for the event as well as the most popular entertainment. Each year’s celebration is a labor of love for the Fulton Volunteer Fire Dept.
purchase equipment and saved to build a new fire station. The New Fire Station is Now Complete. Money raised now goes towards Equipment, Training, & Maintenance. Oysterfest proceeds are the major source of funding for life-saving and fire fighting equipment in the community.

Art Museum of South Texas Frost Free Friday from 10 am - 5 pm
The first Friday of every month is free public admission to the Art Museum of South Texas. The Gift Shop and Hester's Cafe also are open to the public.

Nueces County Medical Society Walk with a Doc from 8 - 9:30 am
Wellness fun with the Nueces County Medical Society (NCMS). Will start with a short presentation on the benefits of walking for you and the whole family. Then enjoy a healthy walk on the beautiful TAMUCC hike and bike trail!

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is FREE of charge and open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Home Depot Kids Workshop Periscope from 9 am to 12 pm
Kids Hone your powers of observation in our hands-on workshop. Just like an above-water viewfinder or historical trench optical instrument, you and your child can construct a periscope to expand your view. Once the periscope is built, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.

Early Scholars Academy Family Fun Days: Space-tacular Science Investigations at 9 am
Travel through Earth and space while using science to give you a truly futuristic experience. This day will have themed activities in the of the following exploration pod: Destination Exploration: Space, Earth and Community rooms. Parents are required to attend.

Annual Sri Venkateshwara Temple of Festival of India and Community Health Fair from 10 am to 3 pm
Immerse yourself in the rich and colorful culture of India by enjoying classical dance performances and a flavorful vegetarian cuisine. Shop for gently used saris and bangles, have your hands painted with henna and show off your Indian look with our photobooth! The Festival of India serves to educate and spread the joy of our beautiful culture with the good people of Corpus Christi. In addition to the Festival, come take advantage of the Community Health Fair hosted simultaneously at the temple by health organizations from across the city.

56th Annual Gem and Mineral Show from 10 am to 6 pm
Lots to do for adults and kids. Over 20 case exhibits will be set up featuring every aspect of the hobby. Some are special exhibits that tour various gem and mineral shows. The case exhibits are a show in themselves. A touch table with rocks from the three major groups of rocks, igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic are grouped on this table according to origin. Demonstrations and a fluorescent rock display is available for viewing for the young and old.
Cost: Adults $6.00 for a 2 day pass.  Children 12 and under are free if accompanied by an adult. Scouts in uniform have free admission

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids at the Alamo: Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood at 10:30 am

Chuck E. Cheese's Sensory Sensitive Sundays at 8 am
Sensory-friendly experience on the first Sunday of every month. Our trained and caring staff is there to make sure each guest has a fun filled visit. The Sensory Sensitive Sundays experience includes less crowding and noise, dimmed lighting, show and music turned off or down, limited appearances by Chuck E. food and games are offered.

Marina Arts District BridgeWalk from 8:30 am - 10:30 am am 
Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. and Walk begins at 8:30am. BridgeWalk is a monthly opportunity to get some exercise with a one-of-a-kind view. The bridge route takes you up and over the beautiful Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge. There is an Alternate route for those with strollers, small children, and animals – this scenic route goes down along the water to the Marina T Heads and back. Both routes are approximately 6,020 yards (3.42 miles). Updated regarding weather or other interference can always be found on website and social media pages.
