Attention perfect weekend alert! There are tons of events going on and gorgeous weather on the horizon. You will not have a hard time finding something to do with the family this weekend! Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Always check with the organizations for the most updated information or if you have any questions. We appreciate the shares and likes. Harbor Playhouse Presents Annie at 7:30 pm (Sunday at 2:30 pm)
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Competencia Folklórica de Tejas at 5-9 pm 
Mexican Folk Dance Competition that serves as an educational environment where both competitors and spectators can broaden their horizons by observing the many different styles of folk dances from Mexico. Competencia Folklórica De Tejas is part of a dance initiative and brings high-quality ballet folklórico dance companies to the community of Corpus Christi for performances and master workshops.

Family Night Out is designed to foster open communication and improve relationships among family members. Groups and activities include: art, games and action exercises, stress management, psycho-education, and community education. The groups and activities focus on decreasing family conflict, increasing family cohesion, and promoting healthy family management. Emphasis is placed on healthy beliefs, family bonding, emotional awareness and expression, and communication skill building. Families: Enjoy a free hot meal and time together! Family Night Out is designed to foster open communication and improve relationships among family members.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is open to individuals and families. There will be Food, Games, Bounce Houses, Egg Hunts, Face Painting, and many more things.

Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. (JLCC) Touch-A-Truck Event from 10 am to 2 pm
This day will offer children a hands-on opportunity to explore working trucks of all types. Emergency response vehicles, Construction trucks, Farming equipment,  Military vehicles and much more! Come for the Trucks or other activities like face painting, a bounce house, photo-ops with local mascots, vendor booths and food trucks. There will be a “horns-free hour” for children with special needs and sensitive ears from 10-11 am.

Michaels Kids Club Easter Treat Bags and Bunny Ears from 10 am to 12 pm
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Join the Mission-Aransas Reserve at the Texas Surf Museum for a fun, educational event. Since Hurricane Harvey, the Mission-Aransas Reserve has not been able to host field trips at their amazing campus in Port Aransas. "Get to Know the Gulf" and learn about our local beaches. Lots of fun activities and the Surfrider Organization will join as well. There will be free snacks and a cash bar available!

Mural Unveiling at Chicas Rock Music Camp from 3 to 5 pm
K Space contemporary invites the community to attend the unveiling of their latest mural. "Rock On!" Come Celebrate the new addition to the Southside of Corpus Christi located on the exterior of ChicasRock Music Camp building . This Mural was created during the 2017 Dia de los Muertos Festival. Close to 1000 people participated in this creation while attending the festival. Designed by artist Lori Edwards, Rock On!, represents basic components of a band setup inspired by the ChicasRock after school program. ChicasRock is a program dedicated to building girls self-esteem through music creation and performance. We will have a special performance of Chicasrock as part of the unveiling ceremony.
