Art Museum of South Texas Frost Free Friday from 10 am - 5 pm
The first Friday of every month is free public admission to the Art Museum of South Texas. The Gift Shop and Hester's Cafe also are open to the public.

La Retama Central Library Summer Matinee at 2 pm
Join us for a family movie. Popcorn and snacks will be served while supplies last. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks to enjoy during the movie.

Corpus Christi Hooks vs. Arkansas Travelers at 7:05 pm
Gates open 6:05 pm. The Hooks take the field as the Corpus Christi Raspas in honor of our beloved South Texas Snow Cones. Also, stick around after the game for Bud Light Friday Fireworks. Friday's game is presented by Sherwin Williams.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Home Depot Kids Workshop Fishing Game from 9 am to 12 pm
Reel in the summer fun in our hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a fishing game while tackling educational and developmental skills. Once your fishing game is built, you and your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. Recommended Ages: 5-12. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.

Free fun art time for families every Saturday! Families of all ages are welcome. CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT, drop-in art activity, no registration. While supplies last.

Michaels Kids Club Under the Stars from 10 am to 12 pm
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids at the Alamo: Nature Cat at 10:30 am
Reserve your seat with a donation with all ticket sales benefiting education programs at your local PBS station. This is an all-ages show with Alamo for All rules - noisy young fans won't be asked to leave the theater but we do ask that cell phones and other devices stay dark.

3rd Annual Corpus Christi Food Truck Summerfest from 12 pm to midnight
Food trucks will be serving up wonderful dishes and food creations for everyone to enjoy. Also happening at the Festival are Live Music, Arts and Craft Alley, Food Eating Contest and plenty of kid activities at the Kid’s Truck Zone. The Food Truck Festival goals are to promote and celebrate Corpus Christi and its variety of foods and a place where families can go and have a good time together. Inviting all citizens of Corpus Christi to celebrate this festival by attending and supporting the food trucks and vendors that have delicious food available.

Marina Arts District BridgeWalk from 8:30 am to 10:30 am am 
Registration starts at 8:00 am and walk begins at 8:30am. BridgeWalk is a monthly opportunity to get some exercise with a one-of-a-kind view. The bridge route takes you up and over the beautiful Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge. There is an Alternate route for those with strollers, small children, and animals – this scenic route goes down along the water to the Marina T Heads and back. Both routes are approximately 6,020 yards (3.42 miles). Updated regarding weather or other interference can always be found on website and social media pages.
