It's the last weekend in July already. Summer is just racing by! Still lots of great Summer events going on. Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Always check with the organizations for the most updated information or if you have any questions. We appreciate the shares and likes. If we're missing something, let us know! All Weekend

Hurricane Alley Waterpark from 11 am to 6 pm

Marvel Universe LIVE! Age of Heroes at 7 pm (3 and 7 pm Sat and Sunday) 
Marvel fans, assemble for this live, action packed, legendary battle to defend the universe from evil. Spider Man, the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy join forces with Doctor Strange, master of the mystic arts, in a race against time to recover the Wand of Watoomb before it falls into Lokis hands. This ancient artifact holds immeasurable mystical power and would allow Loki to achieve his eternal quest to crown himself ruler of Asgard and Earth. This all new show unites some of Marvels greatest Super Heroes including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Hulk and Black Widow against some of the most threatening villains. Their journey sparks new feuds with old foes, pitting student against mentor, sister against sister and brother against brother. Witness cutting edge special effects, aerial stunts and video projection in this incredible adventure. Fans of all ages will be immersed in the Marvel Universe and experience it all with their family LIVE!

Padre Island National Seashore Turtle Hatchling Release at 6:45 am 
A turtle hatchling release is expected. Dates are always tentative but you can call the Hatchling Hotline the morning of to make sure it at 361-949-7163 for the latest information about the release

Most showings are 20-35 minutes long.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Annual Operation Safe Return from 10 am - 2 pm
Hosted by the Corpus Christi Police Department event will include FREE school supplies, sports physicals, vaccines and giveaways. Admission and parking are free, too. Get a healthy start to a new school year. It’s going to be a fun day! School-aged children must be accompanied by an adult and child must be present to receive school supplies. Michaels Kids Club Campfire Stories from 10 am to 12 pm
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids at the Alamo: Nature Cat at 10:30 am
Reserve your seat with a donation with all ticket sales benefiting education programs at your local PBS station. This is an all-ages show with Alamo for All rules - noisy young fans won't be asked to leave the theater but we do ask that cell phones and other devices stay dark.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center and Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies HRI Wetlands Workshop Be the Solution to Ocean Pollution from 2 to 3:30 pm
Join us for another great event hosted by Harte Research Institute and Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve. This series allows participants to interact with and learn directly from researchers at Harte. This month’s program is all about Ocean plastic pollution. Participants will: • Learn about sources of ocean plastic and how to reduce pollution • Learn about proper recycling of our plastics • Make their own shopping bag from recycled t-shirts.

 Join Corpus Christi Joker for SuperSoaker vs Nerf! Bring your Nerf blaster, safety glasses, drinking water and sunscreen...only this time we are allowing SuperSoakers for added wet fun! This will be a byow (bring your own water) event but there will have water on hand to get us started. Hope to see all of you there and can’t wait!
