La Retama Central Library Summer Matinee at 2 pm

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Nueces County Medical Society Back to School Health Fair from 9 am to 2 pm
Fitness Demos/Information, Kid’s Bike Helmets Screenings and Testing, CPR, Family and Friends Training Blood Donation, Demonstrations, Diabetes Education,  Children’s Resources, Women’s Services, Senior Health Immunizations – Tdap, Meningitis, Hepatitis A&B, HPV, Flu, and much more.

HERPS Corpus Exotic Reptile and Pet Expo from 10 am to 5 pm
Browse hundreds of vendor tables that will include thousands of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, feeders, and other exotic pets. There will be educational talks both days, a new Kid’s Corner for an amazing hands on experience, as well as a silent auctions to benefit TxARK and USARK at all shows. Cost: One day pass $10 for adults, $5 for children 5-12. Two day pass $15 for adults, $8 for children 5-12. Children 4 and under free.

Michaels Kids Club Back to School Crafts from 10 am to 12 pm
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids at the Alamo: Back to School with Daniel Tigers Neighborhood at 10 am
Reserve your seat with a donation with all ticket sales benefiting education programs at your local PBS station. This is an all-ages show with Alamo for All rules - noisy young fans won't be asked to leave the theater but we do ask that cell phones and other devices stay dark.
