Fall is officially here and this means every weekend is full of fun events and activities for the whole family! Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Always check with the organizations for the most updated information or if you have any questions. We appreciate the shares and likes. If we're missing something, let us know! Realms Con 2018 at 10 am
14 years of celebrating anime, gaming, horror, comic books, artists, vendors, and celebrities. Enjoy meeting voice actors and media celebrities, panels and workshops, card and video game rooms and tournaments, variety shows, concerts, RAVEs, themed ball with a ballroom dance class prior. New this year is Realms Con Outdoor Annex to complement the Realms Con experience! This location next to the hotel will provide stage entertainment, food trucks, demonstrations, mini artist alley, pop culture cars, and just another place to chill and will be free to the public to enjoy, However, access to premier Realms Con 2018 (dealers, artist alley, celebrities, panels, main events, gaming rooms and tournaments, etc.) will require purchase of badge or bracelet.
Cost: $60 3 Day Weekend at the door; $40 Saturday or Sunday each at the door; $20 Sunday at the door. Children 10 and under free with each paid guardian. Cash only. Realms Con Annex admission FREE

34th Annual Cottonfest at 5 pm to midnight
Food, Live Music, Free Parking, GIGS, Merchandise Vendors, Fun for the Whole Family Cost: Admission is $5 for Cottonfest and includes entrance to the GIGS area (inflatable obstacle courses). Kids 11 years old and under are free admission to Cottonfest and $5 per day for GIGS area. Free parking.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Michaels Kids Club Owl-trageous Crafts from 10 am to 12 pm
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids at the Alamo: Odd Squad at 10:30 am
Reserve your seat with a donation with all ticket sales benefiting education programs at your local PBS station. This is an all-ages show with Alamo for All rules - noisy young fans won't be asked to leave the theater but we do ask that cell phones and other devices stay dark.

Tails will be wagging with excitement for Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation’s Doggy Dips in September! Bring your dog out to the pool and practice your doggy paddle together. This will be the last big splash of the summer before each pool closes for the season. Proof of vaccinations required (Distemper, Parvo & Rabies)

Join the TAMUCC Music Department student and faculty as they celebrate the best in contemporary music at the Sound Waves music festival. The Music Department is welcoming world-renowned composer Miguel de Aguila for the festival, which will also feature one of the most interesting works of the late 20th Century, "In C" by Terry Riley.
