October is over but Fall Festival season is still in full swing! There are many family friendly events this weekend. Remember, some of these activities may require registration. Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center Guided Nature Walks from 9 to 10 am
Meet on the Learning Center porch. Please bring good walking shoes, plenty of water, and dress for the weather. This program is open to individuals and families. Binoculars and field guides will be loaned on a first come first served basis. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 361-826-PLAY (7529)

Kites and Bikes Festival from 1 to 5 pm
Local kite and play enthusiasts have partnered with the Mayor’s Fitness Council to host this fun and FREE event! You don’t want to miss the kite stunts and demonstrations.

South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center "BUCK’ DAY" from 9 am to 6 pm
Visit the STXBOT while tropical color is brilliant, before the Plumeria goes into winter storage, while butterflies are abundant, and the Orchid Conservatory is in bloom, visitors will be treated to Special BUCK DAY features, including two butterfly releases.

Home Depot Kids Club Helicopter from 9 am to 12 pm
Kids Celebrate and honor all who have served our country in our hands-on Veteran’s Day focused workshop. You and your child can build a custom model military helicopter to spark a conversation with a Veteran about fighting large fires, moving troops, getting supplies to ships and transporting patients. Once the “helo” build is complete, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a free certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.

Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History Dollar Day and Frontera from 10 am to 5 pm
As part of the Frontera Festival, the museum will have a Texas history themed Dollar Day sponsored by HEB. There will be tables with hands-on activities and demonstrations throughout the museum. Guests can also enjoy science shows, a scavenger hunt, Museum Live with actors in costume, and much more! Food will be available for sale.

Art Center of Corpus Christi Family Art Time from 10 am to 2 pm
Free fun art time for families every Saturday! Families of all ages are welcome. CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT, drop-in art activity, no registration. While supplies last.

Jurassic Tour from 10 am to 9 pm 
This fun-filled family event will be at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds. There will be a wide variety of fun and educational activities designed to engage all members of the entire family. Embark on a prehistoric journey from the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods and discover the dinosaurs that ruled the earth for more than 150 million years ago! The main exhibit features over 50 life-size ultrarealistic dinosaurs in their natural habitat. Other exhibits include hands-on interaction with these enormous Dinosaurs, ride a cute little baby Dinosaur, be courageous and ride a 12 foot animatronic T Rex & Triceratops. Tracey, a friendly young T-Rex greets guests once every 3 hours and can be found walking and playing with the kids. There's a fossil dig where young paleontologists can dig up ancient bones, experience 9D Virtual Reality Rides designed to stimulate your child’s imagination, a Jurassic Themed Bounce area with dinosaur inflatable bounce houses, scale a Jungle Wall. Test your skills at basketball and darts, face painting, and much more! Michaels Kids Club Christmas Trees from 10 am to 12 pm
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Voices of South Texas at Old Bayview Cemetery from 10 am to 2 pm
This self-guided tour through the cemetery features historical reenactments of the many people who faced uncertain futures and hard times as they forged the path that led to Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend.

Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi PBS Kids at the Alamo: Lets go Luna at 10:15 am

Schlitterbahn Corpus Christi Loggerhead Dive-In Theater Grand Opening Featuring Disney Pixar's COCO at 8 pm
Check out this brand new attraction for fans of all ages, a dive-in theater. During our warm months, you'll be able to float, recline, or sit and enjoy your favorite feature films after the sun goes down at Schlitterbahn. And when it gets too chilly for the water, you can still enjoy a 65-foot movie screen experience on lounge chairs!
Cost: Tickets start at $5 for children, $7 for adults. No outside food or drinks are allowed during screenings.

Texas State Aquarium Dollar Day from 10 am to 5 pm
For just $1 admission, Dollar Day guests can experience all of the Aquarium’s exhibits including the H-E-B Caribbean Sea, a 400,000-gallon aquatic exhibit featuring the longest curved Aquarium display window in North America, and the H-E-B Underwater Room, where guests can get an up-close look at the Aquarium’s four dolphins, Liko, Kai, Shadow and Schooner. The Aquarium will also offer continuous screenings of “The Deep 4D: Mystery of the Ancient Amulet". Due to the significant increase in attendance on Dollar Days, regular presentations and visitor programs will not be provided.
