There are some great Halloween events this weekend... Plus, it's never too early to make sure your kiddos understand the beauty of Jazz. Support the 59th annual Jazz-Fest! If thats not enough, you can add $2 community day at Texas State Aquarium to the list. Get out there and enjoy the weather with your family!

PBS KIDS at the Alamo: Halloween Special

This October, PBS KIDS is celebrating Halloween with spooky, Halloween-themed episodes from ODD SQUAD, DANIEL TIGER'S NEIGHBORHOOD, READY JET GO!, and NATURE CAT. Families are invited to come in costume. It's the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with all the treats and none of the scary tricks.

This is an all-ages show with Alamo for All rules - noisy young fans won't be asked to leave the theater but we do ask that cell phones and other devices stay dark.

Texas State Aquarium - $2 Community Day

Presented by Whataburger! On Community Day, Texas State Aquarium admission is just $2 per person.

Children 2 and under will receive free admission, and parking and admission to the 4D Theater is included with admission.

Due to the significant increase in attendance, regular presentations and visitor programs will not be provided. Tickets are available for sale on-site on Community Day only. There are no tickets available for purchase in advance or online.

Family Day: a Celebration of Imagimation!

Celebrate the works in "A JOURNEY INTO IMAGIMATION: Over 100 Years of Animation Art from Around the World" with hands-on activities including the making of a flip book, e-zine or comic strip, caricature sketches, and animated shorts in our H-E-B Theater. And to prepare for the upcoming Day of the Dead holiday, create a floral crown or top hat to help you celebrate. Augmented reality self-guided tours, music, cookies and more will round out this afternoon of fine art and fine fun for the whole family!
